Cushman's Double-V Freedom Sleeve Sweatshirt is a very fine example of an every day essential. Made in Japan to unwaveringly high standards, these sweatshirts are woven on a suspended-loom, weaving the fabric in a continuous loop-wheeled low tension construction, this means there are no side seams to the body, and the plush 100% cotton fabric has a thick soft feel.
Unlike the normal 'set in' sleeve construction for the shoulders, the freedom sleeve is constructed with 'S' shaped shoulder seams, making them extremely comfortable to wear and full range of movement, these were often seen on early 1930's sweatshirts.
All the other trappings of a quality sweatshirt can be found, with a high close fitting collar with cut away double-V, 4-needle flat locked seems, and long ribbed waist band and cuffs.
