In the early morning hours of June 6, 1944, Allied forces began the largest airborne and amphibious assault in the history of warfare.
One of its most distinguished divisions, who spearheaded the assault on Normandy Beach and whose accomplishments were pivotal to changing the tide of war, is the 1st Infantry Division, also known as the ""Big Red One"". The division's motto of ""No mission too difficult. No sacrifice too great. Duty first!"" was put to the test. We honor those gallant men with this 80th Anniversary Tee.
