It quickly became a mandatory piece of gear for daily life in the Yarmouth climate and working in the fisheries that sustained the isle. The design hasn't changed much since then, and that's a good thing because they absolutely nailed the details from the jump, like that 'A' shaped body, tremendous corduroy collar, and chunky hardware used throughout.
